This is a fantastic children's book which has amazing illustrations which are highly detailed, bright and colourful。 The book shows different heroes in our lives who help and heal people, such as teachers, doctors, parents, shop assistants, police, fire people, bin people, life guards and carers。 It is a great book, which I highly recommend。Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review。 This is a fantastic children's book which has amazing illustrations which are highly detailed, bright and colourful。 The book shows different heroes in our lives who help and heal people, such as teachers, doctors, parents, shop assistants, police, fire people, bin people, life guards and carers。 It is a great book, which I highly recommend。Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more
Skye,
This was a fun new spin on a look and find book that targets so many curriculum topics。 The illustrations were beautiful and detailed with so many opportunities to start discussions about community helpers and connections with others。 This book would be a wonderful addition to our classroom library。
joyce w。 laudon,
The illustrations in this book are colorful, vivid and engaging。 The text invites children to find people in its pages。 There is a guide at the end of the book that lets children know what they are looking for。If you know a child who enjoys search and find books, they may well enjoy this sweet book with a gentle social message。 Take a look。Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title。 All opinions are my own。
Jo,
Beautifully illustrated, this book reminds me of our daily heroes。 As a child, I also want to be someone special: strong, dependable, with superpowers, who help people instantly, But didn't we have them aplenty near us? The doctors and nurses who work relentlessly to help people get better。 None wear cape, of course, but they might work without proper rest to kept people alive。 Teachers and other educators as well, even though paid, some of us works overtime without being paid when grading the p Beautifully illustrated, this book reminds me of our daily heroes。 As a child, I also want to be someone special: strong, dependable, with superpowers, who help people instantly, But didn't we have them aplenty near us? Andreea,
Disclaimer: I received this book in exchange of my honest opinion。It is no secret that I love a good kids book where you have to find hidden objects (or people in this case) in pages filled to the max with illustrations that tell a story on their own independently of the main story。 This book falls in that category but it is more than that: it help children learn to count, but also how to be a good kind human。 Used it right and you can teach the little one about community, helping others, giving Disclaimer: I received this book in exchange of my honest opinion。It is no secret that I love a good kids book where you have to find hidden objects (or people in this case) in pages filled to the max with illustrations that tell a story on their own independently of the main story。 This book falls in that category but it is more than that: it help children learn to count, but also how to be a good kind human。 Used it right and you can teach the little one about community, helping others, giving, doing good, being kind and hidden heroes, of course。 This book is a precious gem。 。。。more
Dickson Poon,
What a great way to teach children about appreciation。 Emergency responders such as firefighters and police officers generally tend to get most of the attention when it comes to everyday heroes, however this book provides the bigger picture for children to observe and respect people in different occupations。 A true gem。
Ann,
Unfortunately I was not able to download this book on my Apple phone, but my son came to my rescue with his iPad。 What a delight! Vibrant pictures, fun hidden heroes throughout and the timely message of just who our everyday heroes are。 Such a great book for children of all ages。 We are never too young to look for the heroes!
Tina Milledge,
I think this is my favourite children's book of 2021 so far。 The illustrations are vibrant and one could spend ages enjoying what each page has to offer in addition to searching for the heroes。 There are plentiful opportunities for counting practice and discussion。 The certificate at the end of the book is perfect for encouraging the young reader to think about what they could do to be helpful in their circle。 It's a beautifully presented and thought through book。 5/5 from me。 With thanks to Net I think this is my favourite children's book of 2021 so far。 The illustrations are vibrant and one could spend ages enjoying what each page has to offer in addition to searching for the heroes。 There are plentiful opportunities for counting practice and discussion。 The certificate at the end of the book is perfect for encouraging the young reader to think about what they could do to be helpful in their circle。 It's a beautifully presented and thought through book。 5/5 from me。 With thanks to Netgalley, publisher and author for offering a digital copy in exchange for my honest review。 。。。more
RoshReviews,
Ever read a children's book and find yourself feeling jealous that such a book wasn't a part of your childhood? Well, this book will induce the same feelings。 It is not common for a children's book to get the three 'I's -- Idea, Implementation and Illustrations -- perfectly correct。 There is always some or the other aspect that they could have worked better on。 But in this book, I can't find a single point to complain about。 Idea: How to teach children to see heroes in day to day life。 Is it jus Ever read a children's book and find yourself feeling jealous that such a book wasn't a part of your childhood? Leslie,
I absolutely loved 10 Hidden Heroes!!! 10 Hidden Heroes teaches kids how we all can impact our world for good。 It even has an award that can be given to the child for helping others at the end of the book。 This book would be great to teach kids in classroom settings or at home about community and how they can be a part of it no matter their age。 Thank you to Net Galley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book! (This review is also on GoodReads。)
